A Bunch of Actors

In 2014, Christophe founded theatre company A Bunch of Actors to re-stage his comedy/drama stage-play, A Still Life, for Brighton Fringe.

With that show a storming success, he expanded the scope of A Bunch of Actors into a platform for his various creative projects on stage and for the screen.

To date, he has produced a number of projects through the A Bunch of Actors banner, with several projects in active development.

All’s Fair In Love & Tinder – Series 1 (Is The Loneliest Number) & 2 (Be Or Not To Be)

All’s Fair (In Love & Tinder) is a no-holds-barred look at the highs and (mostly) lows of dating, featuring in Series 1 the real-life dating disasters of actor and writer Kelly Gray, with Christophe as all her different dates.

Then, with Series 2, we see Christophe’s real-life dating disasters, with Kelly as his dates. It’s romcom, but like you’ve never seen before.

Hipsters’ Paradise

Hipsters’ Paradise is a parody music video of Coolio’s classic Gangsta’s Paradise, written, directed and starring Christophe Philipps.

Poking fun at Brighton’s Hipster culture, Hipsters’ Paradise went on to become a global viral smash hit, with fans even occasionally stopping Christophe in the street for a live rendition – something he’s always happy to indulge.

A Still Life

When pregnant free-spirit Jude awakes in a mental hospital, she has no idea how she got there or who she is…

And that’s just the start – the start of a disconcerting journey into the bizarre world of the characters who populate it, a search for the nearest exit, and the discovery of something truly valuable: herself.

In Development:

Life & De’Ath

Adam De’Ath, a flustered, hen-pecked proprietor of a run-down funeral directors, is investigated by the beautiful Mrs Darling from the Inland Revenue.

Meanwhile, a notorious criminal hides out on the premises, with two incompetent policemen hot on his heels – not to mention Adam’s battleaxe wife, Mona.

Everyday Chemistry

Four guys. Two dimensions. One fake Beatles album.

What if The Beatles never broke up? According to one man they didn’t – at least, not in a parallel dimension, one he visited.

The proof? An album he brought back…

So begins the ‘true’ story of Everyday Chemistry, the greatest Beatles album that never was – a story that’s literally out of this world.

All’s Fair In Love & Tinder – Series 3 (Is A Crowd)

As the title suggests, this is a fresh twist on the All’s Fair formula – featuring not just Kelly, or Christophe, or one of their dates (to be played by Christophe or Kelly, of course) being the problem…

Sometimes, it’s the other people, the third wheels, the friends, family, even exes, that make dating so painful – and so painfully funny.
